At Cut Edge Corrosion UK, we are committed to continually enhancing our practices to combat modern slavery and human trafficking. We recognise our responsibility to remain vigilant to the risks, however minimal, within our business and across our supply chains. We expect our employees to report any concerns, and our management team is dedicated to taking prompt and effective action in response.
We are a specialised provider of edge corrosion protection solutions, based at Unit A3, Marks Hall Farm, White Roding, Dunmow, Essex, CM6 1RT. Our operations extend across the UK and internationally, with a steadfast commitment to serving our clients with integrity and professionalism. Our organisational structure is designed to ensure close oversight of all our activities and supply chains.
Our company is organised into distinct departments responsible for material sourcing, project management, client services, and post-project support. Each department plays a vital role in delivering services that align with our stringent ethical standards.
Our supply chain predominantly involves the procurement of raw materials related to the construction and protective coatings sectors. We meticulously select our suppliers, subjecting them to a comprehensive vetting process to ensure they comply with our ethical standards, particularly concerning labour practices.
We are resolutely committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking do not exist within our supply chains or any part of our business operations. Our Anti-Slavery Policy embodies our commitment to ethical conduct and integrity in all our business relationships. We implement and enforce robust systems and controls to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are absent from our supply chains.
As part of our efforts to identify and mitigate risks:
We maintain a zero-tolerance stance on slavery and human trafficking. We expect all participants in our supply chain, including contractors, to adhere strictly to our values. The Director of Procurement and Supply Chain Management is tasked with ensuring that all suppliers comply with our established standards.
To foster a comprehensive understanding of the risks associated with modern slavery and human trafficking within our supply chains and business, we provide targeted training to our staff. We also require our business partners to deliver similar training to their teams.
Following a review of the effectiveness of our current measures to prevent slavery and human trafficking within our supply chains, we plan to take the following additional steps:
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 2025.
